About Us

Our vision To empower youth and families with health literacy, confidence, and lifelong wellness, creating stronger communities for generations to come.

We support youth and families in reducing screen time and building healthy, active lifestyles through movement based health programs. Children learn through play, develop confidence, strengthen social and emotional skills, and grow in mind, body, and spirit.

We empower children to grow into confident, resilient individuals by strengthening their emotional well being, and supporting positive development in their lives.

A Heart of an Angel is a wellness organization serving children and families.

Our programs offer engaging outdoor health literacy and wellness experiences centered on the whole child mind body and spirit.

Using nature as a classroom, children develop physical strength, emotional awareness, and meaningful social connections.

Each experience creates opportunities for leadership, reinforces the power of words, and integrates positive affirmations and gratitude.

How We Got Started

The name A Heart of an Angel came to me clearly and audibly, and I wrote it down immediately. I still have that note today, framed alongside our business license and first donation.

What began as time spent with my young nephew became something much bigger. Starting when he was just two years old, we spent our time outside. No screens. We ran, climbed, laughed, and explored through play, obstacle courses, and hiking adventures.

Through those moments, I saw firsthand how movement builds confidence, connection, and joy in children.

One day, after watching a video of us leading a park workout, I realized this was more than play. It was purpose.

A Heart of an Angel was created from that moment to help children build confidence, grow through movement, mindset, and health literacy.

The name carries deeper meaning. My mother’s name was Angel, and I carry her compassion, empathy, and heart into this work.
